Warehouse Shrink Wrap Operator

We are a distributor of automotive air conditioning parts based in Sparks, Nevada. We distribute air conditioners, compressors and accessories of brands such as ACDelco, Bergstrom, Delphi, Denso, HCC, Hella and Valeo. We have the largest selection of A/C compressors and accessories in the industry. Our company has over 50 years of service. Our warehouse is 300,000 sq. ft. and we service customer worldwide.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled shrink wrap operator to join our team. You will be responsible for wrapping completed pallets. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate and monitor shrink wrap machine to ensure proper functioning
• Perform routine maintenance on machine to keep it in optimal condition
• Set up machine for production runs according to specifications
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience with a shrink wrap machine
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to use hand tools effectively
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery
• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required
