Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled shrink wrap operator and packer to join our team. You will be responsible for wrapping completed pallets. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Have the ability to pick, pack and process orders in a timely manner.
Duties:
- Operate and monitor shrink wrap machine to ensure proper functioning
- Perform routine maintenance on machine to keep it in optimal condition
- Set up machine for production runs according to specifications
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Must have good communication skills
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with a shrink wrap machine
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial
- Forklift certification is required
