What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Bookkeeper position at Omega Contracting LLC?
Our company is currently seeking a Construction Bookkeeper to join our team! We are a small-to-midsize family owned commercial construction company based in Fallston, MD. We are seeking a full-time bookkeeper, that would have the opportunity for some remote work once up to speed on our processes. You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company. Primary duties would be working with the Project Managers to assemble job costs and billings in our Procore project management system, reconciling accounts, Accounts Receivable payment intake and logging, paying subcontractors through ACH, payroll functions, generate financial reports and coordinating with our outside CPA for accounting and tax functions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Quickbooks
- Experience with cost accounting, payroll, account analysis, and balance sheet creation and management
- Experience with Procore preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years experience with bookkeeping, preferably in the construction field
- Experience with Lien waivers, ACH payments and account oversight
- Proficient in Word, Excel
- Proficient phone and email skills to ensure consistent client relationships
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Team-oriented attitude
Responsibilities:
