As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our team and help ensure our financial operations run smoothly and accurately.
Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, supporting billing processes, and assisting with general accounting functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements regularly
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with payroll preparation and related reporting
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and expenditures
- Support monthly and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations
- Work closely with the administrative team and leadership to address financial questions or concerns
Ideal Candidate:
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Skilled in maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive information
- Strong communicator with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proactive problem-solver with a commitment to accuracy
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with medical billing and healthcare finance is a plus
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Ability to pass a background check
Schedule:
- Part-time (20–25 hours per week) with flexible hours
