- Evening - $3.00/hour
- Night - $5.00/hour
- Weekend - $4.50/hour
- Pharm Night - $8.50/hour
- Standby - $4.00/hour
- Lead - $3.25/hour
- Per Diem - 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)
- Certification - $2.00/hour
- Trainer - $2.00/hour
- Student Coord - 1 = $2.00/hour, 2 = $3.25/hour
The Polysomnographic Technologist II performs comprehensive polysomnography in accordance with OMC’s Sleep Center policies and procedures, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines.
EDUCATION
- Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography OR
- Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year’s duration, associated with a state-licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility OR
- Equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist
18 months’ experience in polysomnography preferred
LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS
- Certification (and maintenance of certification) by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) as a Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) OR
- Equivalent registration by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
- Current BLS certification
