About the Position:
This is a hybrid adjunct faculty position that involves teaching face-to-face applied physics classes at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. As an instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students the essential concepts of forces, work, rates, resistance, energy, and waves while promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver inclusive lesson plans that reflect diverse perspectives
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback that promotes cultural awareness
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in physics or a related field
- Desired: Master's Degree in physics or a related field
- College-level teaching experience
