Job Summary
Olympia Auto Sales is looking for a dependable and motivated Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team.
We are a busy, high-volume independent dealership with a constantly changing inventory of cars, trucks, SUVs, and diesels. We are looking for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, can diagnose and repair a variety of issues, and takes pride in doing quality work.
You do not need dealership experience or every certification to apply. We are open to experienced technicians as well as motivated mechanics who have solid hands-on experience and want an opportunity to grow.

Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose vehicles
- Perform general mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Complete brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, and other common repairs
- Diagnose check-engine lights and drivability concerns
- Perform oil changes and basic vehicle services when needed
- Identify safety or mechanical concerns during inspections
- Communicate needed repairs clearly with management
- Complete repairs correctly and efficiently
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Help get vehicles inspected, repaired, and ready for sale
What We're Looking For
- Automotive repair experience preferred
- Good mechanical and diagnostic ability
- Comfortable working on a variety of makes and models
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and good work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Own basic hand tools
- Valid driver's license
- ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
- Dealership experience is a plus, but not required
