Litigation Associate (Real Estate & Business)

Olsen Barton LLC, a growing Lake Oswego firm known for its real estate, business, and eminent domain practices, seeks a litigation associate with at least three (3) years of experience to join its team. This is an opportunity to handle substantive, client-facing matters, help shape case strategy, and build a practice within a collegial, growth-oriented firm committed to excellence in client service, strong work product, and deliberate attorney development.

•     Represent clients in real estate, business, and eminent domain litigation in Oregon state and federal courts

•     Manage matters through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial

•     Draft briefs and argue motions before Oregon state and federal courts

•     Work directly with partners and clients in developing case strategy

•     Take an active role in the firm’s professional development and business development initiatives

•     At least three (3) years of litigation experience, with a strong command of Oregon state and federal court practices and procedures

•     Active membership in good standing with the Oregon State Bar

•     Well-developed written and oral advocacy skills

•     A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail

•     Ability to manage an active caseload independently while contributing to a collaborative team

•     Annual base compensation of $130,000 to $170,000, depending on experience

•     Performance-based bonus of up to $30,000, depending on experience
