Olsen Barton LLC, a growing Lake Oswego firm known for its real estate, business, and eminent domain practices, seeks an experienced lateral attorney with at least eight (8) years of experience and a portable book of business to join its team. This position offers an established practitioner the opportunity to bring an existing client base to a collegial, growth-oriented platform, to lead substantive matters, and to help shape the firm’s continued expansion. The firm provides the autonomy, resources, and compensation model that allows a self-directed attorney to grow a practice while contributing to a culture committed to excellence in client service, strong work product, and deliberate attorney development.
Responsibilities• Maintain, service, and grow a book of business
• Lead client matters through all phases
• Develop and execute case and transaction strategies in coordination with firm partners
• Cultivate and expand client relationships and referral sources
• Mentor and supervise associates and contribute to the firm’s professional development efforts
• Take an active leadership role in the firm’s business development initiatives
Qualifications• At least eight (8) years of relevant litigation or transactional experience in real estate, business, eminent domain, employment, trusts & estates, tax, intellectual property and/or general commercial litigation
• A demonstrated, portable book of business
• Active membership in good standing with the Oregon State Bar
• Established client relationships and a proven record of business development
• Ability to manage a caseload and client relationships independently while contributing to a collaborative team
