Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations at our Chelsea, MA facility, ensuring efficient fulfillment of customer orders, accurate inventory management, and seamless coordination across Olivia & Rose’s network. This role leads a team, manages inventory transfers (including to consignment partners), and drives operational excellence in safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment
- Oversee daily picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery
- Manage and execute inventory transfers from Chelsea, MA to other Olivia & Rose facilities and consignment locations
- Ensure proper staging, labeling, and documentation for all outbound shipments
- Monitor order flow and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and transactions in NetSuite, including transfers to internal and consignment locations
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory counts
- Track and reconcile consignment inventory to ensure accuracy across locations
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and coach warehouse staff on fulfillment procedures, systems, and equipment use
- Schedule labor to meet operational needs and optimize productivity
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork
- Lead onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing employees
Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with production, receiving, logistics, and consignment partners to ensure smooth inventory flow
- Coordinate closely with Olivia & Rose Headquarters (West Coast) on inventory levels, transfers, and reporting
- Communicate daily performance, issues, and improvement opportunities to leadership
Receiving & Logistics
- Oversee receiving of inbound shipments and ensure accurate counts, quality checks, and system entry
- Maintain organized warehouse layout to support efficient storage and movement of goods
- Ensure proper documentation for transfers, including intercompany and consignment shipments
Equipment & Safety
- Operate and oversee safe use of warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet rider, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment (5S principles)
- Conduct safety training and enforce proper procedures
Performance & KPIs
- Own and drive key performance indicators including OTIF (On-Time In-Full), fulfillment accuracy, inventory accuracy, and pick/pack accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain high operational standards to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and service levels
- Monitor metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve performance
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements to warehouse and fulfillment processes
- Optimize workflows for transfers, including consignment inventory management
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations
Required Skills/Abilities/Certifications, etc.:
- 5 years of warehouse experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Experience managing inventory transfers, including consignment inventory (strongly preferred)
· Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Forklift and/or pallet rider certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in food & beverage or cold-chain logistics is a plus
Work Environment:
The production facility and associated warehousing are refrigerated facilities, which means this position must be able to work in a cold, wet, and loud environment for extended periods of time with the proper personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires frequent standing, stooping, and/or bending for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.
