What You’ll Do Set up and adjust high-speed windowing machines for each production run.Load paperboard blanks and window film rolls; align materials to meet job specs.Calibrate glue systems and placement guides for accurate application.Perform in-process checks to verify registration, adhesion, and film placement. Production & Quality Run at target speeds while maintaining stringent quality standards.Inspect for misaligned windows, glue overflow, scratches, and film wrinkles.Record counts, downtime, and waste on all required documents.Partner with quality and finishing teams to quickly resolve issues. Maintenance & Safety Perform routine preventive maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, and part changes.Troubleshoot and correct minor mechanical/electrical issues to sustain uptime.Follow lockout/tagout, wear PPE, and maintain excellent housekeeping. Teamwork & Communication Coordinate with feeders, packers, and helpers to maximize efficiency.Update supervisors on run status, materials, and machine concerns.Assist in training apprentices and new team members as needed. What You’ll Bring Experience operating finishing/packaging machinery—ideally in folding cartons or print/packaging.Mechanical aptitude for setups, adjustments, and light maintenance.Sharp attention to detail and strong quality focus.Ability to read job tickets, work orders, and quality specs.Comfort with basic math and measurements. Preferred Hands-on experience with windowing equipment.Familiarity with adhesives, films, and board substrates used in folding cartons.Forklift certification or proven safe material handling experience.
