Job Summary
We are seeking an organized Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee daily operations and manage financial records within our busy office environment. This role combines essential office management duties with comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring smooth workflow, accurate financial tracking, and effective team support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to foster a productive and welcoming workplace.
Responsibilities
- Handle bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks including invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Processing logging tickets and sending to mill weekly.
- Payroll processing, employee records management, interviewing, coordinating drug testing for new hires and random testing for drivers.
- Organize company events and meetings.
- Maintain filing systems.
- Accounts payable and receivable.
- Ordering supplies for office and shop.
- Booking multiple rooms for out of town work.
- Invoicing customers weekly for work preformed.
- Renewing IRP Tags, regular tags (local office), 2290's and business license.
- Managing gps camera systems in all semi trucks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management combined with clerical or administrative roles; prior logging office experience is a plus.
- Strong bookkeeping skills with proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules efficiently and prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Knowledge of vendor management, budgeting, payroll processing, and human resources practices.
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for front desk interactions.
- Experience with event planning, calendar management, filing systems.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
