What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Actuarial Analyst position at Oliver James?
Oliver James are partnered with a US primary care platform operating under a value-based care model in their search for a Senior Actuarial Analyst.
Within this role you will develop and maintain models to forecast risk-adjusted revenue across Medicare Advantage contracts. You will work to develop and maintain models to forecast future medical cost and revenue and/or evaluate the financial impact of various interventions as well as other tasks surrounding data analysis and reserving.
Role requirements:
- 3-6 years health actuarial experience, pre ASA or ASA designation
- Prior experience within Medicare Advantage
- Proficiency in modelling, forecasting, and/or variance analysis
- SQL experience
