Director of Financial Reporting

We're working with a growing financial services company looking to hire a Director of Financial Reporting to lead a small team and oversee accounting and financial reporting activities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, working closely with leadership, and being involved in both day-to-day reporting and bigger business initiatives.

• Manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
• Analyze financial results and explain key variances
• Partner with leadership, auditors, and internal teams
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Help improve reporting processes and internal controls
• Support finance projects and new business initiatives
  
  

• CPA or similar accounting qualification preferred
• 10 years of accounting or financial reporting experience
• Leadership or team management experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience preferred
