Our client is looking for a strategic and detail-driven professional to manage the full cycle of the reinsurance operations. In this senior role, you'll oversee financial accuracy, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support their reinsurance strategy.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end accounting and operational processes for ceded reinsurance programs
- Analyze and interpret complex treaty structures and ensure accurate financial execution
- Collaborate with different departments to enhance systems, reporting, and automation
- Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple business units
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Guide and support offshore teams to ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables
- Contribute to transformation projects and help modernize reinsurance workflows
What You Bring:
- Deep expertise in reinsurance accounting and treaty interpretation
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, data flows, and general ledger alignment
- Experience managing close processes, reconciliations, and reinsurance recoverable
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and partner across departments
- Experience with regulatory reporting (Schedule F, broker billing, collateral processes, etc.) is a plus
