My client, a top Boutique Private Equity firm ($11b AUM) in the downtown Chicago area is looking for an Senior Fund Accountant to join and lead their expanding team due to high growth. Our client works on a hybrid basis in the loop, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review NAVs, capital calls, water falls, and fund financials
- Coordinate with fund administrators and custodians
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory filings
- Support audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews
- Track capital activity and assist with investment valuations
- 3-6 years of mutual fund or registered fund accounting experience
- Strong understanding of NAV processes, GAAP, and SEC filings
- Experience with alternatives/private equity is a plus
- Proficient in Excel and fund accounting software
- CPA or progress toward certification preferred
