What are the responsibilities and job description for the SVP, Claims - FULLY REMOTE - Property position at Oliver James Associates?
Oliver James has a very exciting SVP - Claims vacancy with a rapidly expanding insurance organisation. As the SVP - Claims you will be responsible for building the claims business from scratch including creating and implementing all claims operations, controls and process. You will also be responsible for recruiting and leading a claims team and ensuring claims is a successful part of the overall business strategy. You will also manage high level TPA relationships and be the lead sign off for home-owners and commercial property claims across the US. This insurer is heavily focused on technology and innovation so we are looking for a forward thinking leader with experience in this area.
Skills/ Qualifications Required;
- 10 years senior claims leadership experience within property claims (including leading managers)
- 10 years working in highly strategical claims roles with responsibility for change/transformation
- Experience working for an insurtech or tech/innovation focused insurance organisation
- Experience building claims teams and being responsible for business / claims growth
- The ability to create and implement operational strategy across a large claims team
- Strong data and analytics experience in regards to claims performance and market trends
- Strong TPA management experience - with a focus on HO/Commercial property claims
This role can be FULLY REMOTE with a base salary up to $240,000 20-40% annual bonus and other long-term incentives. Please note we can only consider candidates with extensive senior leadership experience within property claims (non-auto claims).
