You’ll be responsible for safely operating and maintaining both ready mix and volumetric concrete trucks, ensuring accurate mixes, timely deliveries, and top-quality service on every job.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate ready mix and volumetric mixer trucks safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Accurately batch, mix, and deliver concrete according to job specifications.
- Manage concrete slump, consistency, and quality on site.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, batch plant personnel, and job site crews.
- Maintain delivery documentation and load tickets accurately.
- Keep truck and mixing equipment clean and in good working order.
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- CDL Class B or higher with clean driving record. (Class A with doubles, Triples, and Tanker Endorsements preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating Class B or Class A vehicles required. (Mixer operation experience preferred)
- Heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate chutes, levers, controls, and perform equipment adjustments.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Must be physically able to climb, lift, and maneuver around heavy equipment safely.
