Duties
- Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, making them feel valued and comfortable from the moment they step through the door
- Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information and assisting with reservations or inquiries
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction
- Support food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices and restaurant policies
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; a positive attitude is essential!
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and restaurant operations is advantageous
