Job Summary
The ideal candidate in this role will fabricate steel molds for concrete which involves the use of hand and power tools, welding operations, and lifting tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Fabrication of steel from parts using various cutting equipment and welding parts together per specifications
- Completing vertical and horizontal arc and MIG welding
- Using oxygen and fuel torches to cut steel
- Using industrial steel tools such a vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc
Job Requirements
- At least one year of experience in steel fabrication
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to read fractions and a tape measure
- Ability to read shop prints
- Understanding of basic use of hand and power tools
- Maintenance experience preferred
Compensation
- The hourly pay rate is $19/hr.
