Welder

Borga Steel is hiring due to strong growth in our metal building and structure business We are seeking a team-focused Structural Welder. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of professional Welders and Fabricators. This is a versatile role: you will be cross-trained across all work cells in the welding facility and will rotate among them regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG weld three-plate structural beams for buildings and solar structures.
• Prepare materials for use.
• Prepare finished parts for shipment.
• Complete quality checks.
• Coordinate the movement of tools and materials on the production floor.
• Operate shop equipment and machinery to produce parts.
• Perform general shop housekeeping, organize, and maintain the inside and outside of the shop.
• Maintain shop equipment, machines, and work areas.
• Complete production documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be reliable and have a solid work history.
• A welding certificate is not required, but you must have the ability to pass the welding certification test.
• Recent Welding School Graduates are encouraged to apply

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, you will be continually required to stand and walk.
• You will be required to lift, carry boxes, and use pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and dollies, as well as small hand tools.

Pay rates start at $21.00/hr DOE.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, occasional overtime and Saturdays.

Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
