What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Old New York Deli & Bakery Co?
Our ideal Baker can consistently meet and or exceed these basic job requirements daily:
· Dependably arrive on time each and every day without fail, bakers shifts are at 1:30am-9:30am or 4:30am-12:30pm
· Is completely responsible for making sure the store is fully stocked with the best baked fresh bagels, bread, pastries, and related items throughout their shift
· Works in extreme cold and hot conditions
· Keeps all machines and work area extremely clean and sanitary at all times
· Manages inventory of bagels, bread, pastries, and ingredients daily, also places orders with vendors
· Handles many tasks at on time
· Takes pride in making the best high-quality bagels and bakery items each and every day
