Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods within the warehouse, furnishing products to the lines, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your expertise in forklift operation, inventory management, and warehouse operations will help streamline our distribution efforts and support our commitment to excellent customer service. Duties

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials between warehouses and facilities
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy
• Prepare outbound shipments by picking, packing, and staging orders according to shipping logistics requirements
• Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to uphold inventory accuracy
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards during shipping and receiving processes
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and documentation for domestic and international shipments while adhering to trade compliance standards
• Safely and accurately ensure materials needed for production are at the production lines to avoid materials downtime.
• Assist in staging materials and labels for the next day's production runs.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution processes
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation
• Experience operating forklifts, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with data entry procedures, and warehouse operations best practices
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control and order accuracy
• Customer service orientation to support internal teams and external partners effectively

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
