Front Desk Agent – Staybridge Suites
Join our team as a Front Desk Agent at Staybridge Suites, where you will serve as the welcoming face of our hotel and play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will manage front desk operations, assist with reservations and guest requests, and support daily hotel operations with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your proactive approach will help ensure smooth operations and memorable stays for every guest.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and provide efficient check-in/check-out service
- Manage hotel reservations, room assignments, and guest billing accurately using hotel property management systems
- Answer multi-line phone systems professionally and direct calls or inquiries appropriately
- Assist guests with requests, local recommendations, transportation information, and hotel amenities
- Handle guest concerns or service issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate guest records, reports, and data entry in hotel systems
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding room status and guest needs
- Monitor lobby and front desk area to maintain cleanliness, organization, and brand presentation standards
- Process payments, post charges, balance cash drawers, and complete end-of-shift reports
- Promote hotel services, loyalty programs, and upsell room upgrades when available
- Support breakfast/social hour setup or guest service needs as required in extended-stay operations
Requirements
- Previous front desk, hospitality, customer service, or hotel experience preferred
- Experience with hotel property management systems (Opera, OnQ, FOSSE, etc.) is a plus
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and basic data entry proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionally
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest needs
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Cash handling and basic accounting experience preferred
- Must maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times
