Job Description
Instructors selected from this pool will teach courses within the Department of Counseling and Higher Education. Courses may include foundations of counseling, group counseling, ethics, assessment, multicultural counseling, career counseling, practicum or internship supervision, and other program-specific offerings depending on departmental needs. Courses may be online, in-person, or hybrid.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Counselor Education (preferably from a CACREP-accredited program) or a closely related field from an accredited institution (required at the time of appointment).
- Demonstrated experience teaching or supervising counseling students.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in higher education counseling programs.
- Familiarity with CACREP accreditation standards.
- Willingness to teach across multiple modalities (online, hybrid, in person).
