The Department of Recreation, Sport Pedagogy, and Consumer Science seek a facilitator for multiple courses, in the courses taught in the Coaching, Health & Physical Education degrees.

Job Description
Applications to this pool posting will be utilized to fill a part-time, non-benefits eligible facilitator position for online instruction during the 2025-2026 academic year. More specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in teaching in online undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Coaching, Health & Physical Education degrees, specifically in:
- Master of Science in Soccer Coaching Education courses
- Master of Science in Coaching Education courses
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Activity & Sport Coaching courses
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Education & Teacher Education (PETE) courses
Course facilitators engage students in learning that meets the course and learning objectives via moderating weekly discussions and encouraging quality participation from students, provide meaningful feedback to students on discussions, assisting in creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students; and providing timely grading of discussions in accordance with the rubric provided by the instructor of record
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline to assist in facilitating the undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Evidence of online teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants should be able to teach and address areas such as skill acquisition, sport psychology, sport sociology, performance analysis, and sport leadership. Beyond this focus, applicants should be able to help foster learning skills through research, negotiation, and communication.
