The selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet minimum qualifications.
What You Will Do
- You will be involved in the design, manufacturing, testing and implementation of ODOT’s snow and ice removal equipment.
- You will create technical specifications and drawings for all components of ODOT’s snow plow trucks i.e. chassis, hydraulic systems, plows, bodies.
- You will work with ODOT’s counties and districts evaluating and training on load and weight distribution of their equipment.
- You will work alongside of ODOT professional engineers.
- You will receive hands-on transportation training & experience needed to further your career as an engineer with ODOT.
