Enterprise Shared Solutions (ESS) coordinates strategies, develops, and manages enterprise application systems and solutions. ESS includes the following program areas: DAS Applications; Enterprise Document Management; Enterprise eLicensing; InnovateOhio Platform; Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS); Ohio Benefits Program; Ohio Business Gateway; Ohio Geographically Referenced Information Program (OGRIP) and Geospatial Technology and Solutions.
- Installs, maintains, configures, upgrades &/or administers hardware &/or software independently in server administration & SAN administration where technical work requires specific knowledge to evaluate, select, adapt & modify standard procedures
- Devises new approaches to problems encountered
- Diagnoses, analyzes & resolves issues for customers across assigned multiple technology domains
- Creates, organizes, files & maintains documentation
- Reviews & monitors enterprise security systems
- Takes appropriate action & responds to alarms/alerts per agency policy & procedure
- Interfaces with other platforms from a hardware &/or software perspective
- Answers questions & presents informal mentorship opportunities to peers &/or lower-level staff via conversation, observation or technical documentation
48 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
- Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems; 30 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems; 24 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
- Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
