Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire culinary operation, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety are maintained at all times.
- Develop creative menus that align with brand standards and cater to diverse dietary needs, including special dietary accommodations.
- Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and support personnel, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring efficient food handling, preparation, and service in both fine dining and catering settings.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective inventory management practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.
- Coordinate with the catering departments to deliver seamless event execution while maintaining quality standards.
- Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels during peak hours and special events.
- Monitor food costs and manage budgets to ensure profitability without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training staff on new techniques, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Extensive culinary background with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing diverse kitchen teams in fast-paced settings.
- Experience with banquet operations, catering services, and fine dining establishments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food industry best practices related to food safety, handling, inventory control, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with dietary department protocols and accommodating various dietary restrictions for guests.
