We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate is a safe, dependable, and professional driver with a strong driving record operating commercial vehicles. This position will involve hauling liquid hazardous materials in Tank Trailers.
This is a seasonal position from November- April.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
- Transport and deliver liquid commodities to customers and job sites safely and on schedule.
- Properly inspect, secure, load, and unload cargo as required.
- Complete required driver logs, inspections, delivery paperwork, and other documentation.
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- When assigned, safely transport hazardous materials in accordance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Previous professional truck-driving experience required.
- Clean and safe driving record preferred.
- Hazmat endorsement (H) preferred or required for positions involving hazardous materials.
- Tanker endorsement (N)
- Twic Card
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to meet applicable DOT requirements.
- Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and meet scheduled delivery times.
