We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in handling different types of trailers—including refrigerated, and tractor-trailers—will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties
- Safely operate a variety of trucks including manual transmission vehicles, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks for scheduled deliveries and pickups
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Deliver freight accurately along assigned routes, adhering to delivery schedules and traffic laws
- Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, routes, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles preferred but not
- Demonstrated ability to load & unload freight safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver experience is highly desirable
- Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment (certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo securement
