CDL Driver / Shop Hand

Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver / Shop Hand to join our team. This position offers a great balance of driving and hands-on shop work. You'll spend approximately 50 overnight travel days per year making deliveries and transporting equipment. The remainder of your time will be spent working in our shop assisting with equipment maintenance, fabrication, and general shop operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles for deliveries and equipment transport
• Complete approximately 50 overnight travel days annually
• Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials
• Perform general shop duties and assist with daily operations
• Help maintain equipment, tools, and a clean, organized work environment
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Welding experience
• Mechanical or equipment repair experience
• Experience working in a shop or construction-related environment
