This position is in the Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Office of the Executive Secretariat (OES). OES oversees the review and approval of official documents and coordinating the flow of information critical to rigorous decision making. OES is also responsible for the coordination of all policy related decision material submitted to the Department for clearance. OES provides records management services, including storage of classified material and document searches.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or equivalent band in the Federal service, which includes: Analyzing new or proposed legislation and/or changes in regulations; Conducting studies of organizational efficiency and/or productivity and recommending improvements in organization, staffing, work methods, and/or procedures; and Developing strategies to resolve issues that impact the agency program goals or objectives.

Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Policy Analyst, GS-0301-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:- Identify, design, and/or implement Agency-wide programs.
- Provide advice to senior leadership on policy matters, political impacts, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop communication strategies to disseminate policy updates and/or changes across the organization.
- Perform the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.
- Analyze new or proposed legislation or regulations to determine impact on Executive Secretariat program operations and/or management.
Salary : $143,913
