As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be essential in delivering high-quality care to our residents and/or patients. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct care services in a state healthcare facility. LOCATION: William R. Sharpe Hospital, Weston, WV

• Provide Direct Care: Assume daily responsibility and accountability for the physical care of assigned residents.
• Technical Skills: Perform basic technical skills, adhering to the Nursing Department’s policies and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work efficiently and cooperatively with residents/patients, families, nursing personnel, and other facility departments.
• Communication: Effectively communicate treatment information, nursing actions, resident needs, and observations to the appropriate persons, and document this information in line with Nursing Department policies.
• Supportive Environment: Support Nursing Services and ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.

Education:	None.
Licensure/Certifications:	Certification or Registration as a Nursing Assistant or Nurse Aide in the state of West Virginia.
Experience:	None.

This is for our William R. Sharpe location in Weston, West Virginia. This position is cross-posted as a Health Service Worker. Although the duties and responsibilities may be comparable for both classifications, the final classification upon employment will be determined by whether the applicant possesses an active West Virginia certification or registration (as described above) necessary to perform the designated duties and responsibilities.
