Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Supervise front of house operations to maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Train, develop, and manage staff to enhance performance and promote teamwork.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
- Utilize the Toast POS system for efficient order processing and reporting.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning to optimize restaurant profitability.
- Conduct interviews and hire new staff as needed to meet operational demands.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure smooth communication between front of house and back of house teams.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Implement training programs focused on food handling, service standards, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary practices.
- Familiarity with quick service & fast food environments as well as fine dining experiences is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Experience in staff training, development, and performance management is essential.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial management practices.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is required.
- Previous experience in hospitality management or kitchen management is a plus.
