The Personnel Commission announces an OPEN and PROMOTIONAL recruitment. This recruitment will result in the establishment of one integrated eligibility list. Promotional candidates will have seniority points added to final passing scores (.25 of a point for every year of classified service up to a maximum of 5 points). This list will be used to fill current and future vacancies and will be active for one year or until canceled. There is currently ONE positions open in the Education Support Services Department. This is an 6 hour/day, 10 month position. Under direction of the assigned supervisor, perform a variety of supportive tasks in the development of job training sites in the public and private sectors of the community; assist in the placement of special education student workers; facilitate students in the transition from high school to career; and instruct special education student workers in community job training sites.Requirements / Qualifications

The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this classification would typically be acquired through graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate; extensive and demonstrated (paid or volunteer) experience in working with children, with experience in working with special education high school students preferred; or any combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required knowledges and abilities.
