Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) is a global supplier of high-purity metals, alloys, ceramics, and rare-earth materials used in advanced research and industrial applications.
We are looking for a detail-oriented B2B Sales Support Specialist to assist our sales team with customer communication, order processing, and pipeline management. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable working with both technical products and international clients.
Main Responsibilities/Functions:
- Support 2 sales representatives with daily operations and customer follow-ups
- Communicate with customers (English & Mandarin) via phone and email
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and track shipments
- Maintain and update CRM and sales pipeline
- Identify customer needs and assist in recommending products
- Coordinate with warehouse team for order fulfillment and inventory
- Generate and qualify new leads from inbound inquiries
- Assist with inventory tracking and ERP updates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Chemistry, or related preferred)
- Fluent in Mandarin (required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable working with technical or industrial products
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus
Preferred:
- B2B sales or sales support experience
- Experience in chemicals, materials, or industrial products
- Warehouse or logistics exposure
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
There are prolonged periods of sitting, standing and working at a computer and on the phone with a headset.
Traveling may be required.
