Laundry Supervisor (Lead Attendant) - Oceana Resorts

Oceana Resorts is seeking a dependable and motivated Laundry Supervisor (Lead Attendant) to oversee the daily operation of our commercial laundry facility serving multiple oceanfront resorts in Myrtle Beach. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for supervising the laundry team while ensuring linens are processed efficiently, quality standards are maintained, and inventory levels meet the needs of our resort partners.

The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, and enjoys leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the laundry department and lead by example.
• Schedule, train, coach, and support laundry attendants.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Monitor and maintain linen inventory levels for multiple resort locations.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, separate, and prepare linens for distribution.
• Load, unload, and transport linens between resort locations using a company truck and trailer.
• Work closely with housekeeping leaders and other resort departments to ensure linen needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry facility.
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
• Assist with other laundry-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team lead experience required; hospitality or commercial laundry experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a company truck while towing a trailer.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull loaded laundry carts throughout the shift.
• Reach overhead, bend, stoop, twist, and stand for extended periods.
• Work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment with repetitive motion.
