About the Role
The Casino Banker is responsible for all Cage Bank activities during assigned shifts.
Position Responsibilities
- Receives and accounts for all funds turned into the Main Bank from all departments, the Chip Bank to and from table games, and the check (marker bank) as necessary.
- Maintains accountability for the Cage Operations Department including meeting all necessary deposits, net win, impress level, etc.
- Completes all required paperwork, money exchanges, bag redemptions, buys multiple drops from the Countroom, prepares cassettes for the NRT machines, etc.
- Maintains a high level of integrity to protect and safeguard the company’s assets and funds.
- May be asked to perform Casino Cashiering functions if necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and varied hours.
- Must have manual dexterity to allow for inputting of data into computer software and be capable of viewing computer monitors for extended periods of time
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of cash handling experience is required.
- Strong math skills required.
- Some banking or accounting experience is preferred.
