What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Development Trainer position at Occupational Training Center?
- Performs yearly mandatory trainings as required
- Conducts new hire specific orientation
- Scheduling and conducting training assessments across all programs to evaluate and determine training needs by appropriate training methods (virtual, mentoring, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing of a specific training program based on state, local and OTC policy, rules, regulations and laws.
- Notifies staff/supervisors in advance when upcoming trainings are due.
- Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Communicates regularly with managers, and other designated contacts within the organization as necessary.
- Personal ongoing certifications, training and development.
- Willingly and effectively cooperates with OTC, The Department of Human Services, The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and other licensing or state agency or local municipalities in any inspections and investigations, upon request.
- Other duties as assigned
- Schedule is M-F 8:00am-4:00pm with some evenings and weekends required.
