What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Occupational Training Center?
- Transport individuals with disabilities to and from their residence and to and from work on a daily basis.
- When driving individuals, staff member will ensure individuals and equipment are properly secured in the vehicle.
- Ensure immediate access to emergency services in the case of life threatening emergencies in full compliance Danielle’s Law.
- Inspect, maintain and operate assigned vehicles in accordance with State laws and regulations, and OTC/program policies and procedures.
- Complete and submit all required reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Willingly and effectively cooperates with OTC, The Department of Human Services, The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and other licensing or state agency or local municipalities in any inspections and investigations, upon request.
- Must be able to work 5:00am-8:30am for the morning run and 3:30pm-7:30pm for the afternoon run.
