What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boiler Operator - Janitor position at Occupational Training Center?
- Keep building entrances clean to include windows, floor, trash, etc.
- Respond to all service calls
- Provide emergency cleanup services.
- Police, clean/ supply restrooms when needed.
- Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors.
- Check all outside trash cans and remove if needed
- Clean assigned secure areas
- Inform Supervisor/Management of needed supplies
- Report all deficiencies, lost or broken equipment, and damaged property and other discrepancies to the Supervisor/Manager.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines when using equipment or mixing cleaning solution and comply with safety guidelines.
- Check Boiler functions (water levels and pressure gages) every 2 hours and record findings in assigned log book
- Willingly and effectively cooperates with OTC, The Department of Human Services, The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and other licensing or state agency or local municipalities in any inspections and investigations, upon request.
