Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Serve food and beverages to guests in accordance with service protocols, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Operate POS systems for order processing and billing accurace
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety regulations, and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food preparation methods
- Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order management
- Previous hotel or banquet experience is a plus for supporting diverse service settings
