Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Catering Event Server in New Jersey. The Catering Event Server will be responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces, serving food and beverages with professionalism, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness, following food safety procedures, and providing prompt and courteous service throughout events.
Qualifications
- Experience in food service, banquet service, or customer service
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent guest experiences
- Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Prior catering or hospitality experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation to event serving location
