Entry Level Marketing Representative

This entry-level independent contractor opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and representing a growing company at community events. No industry experience is required training will be provided.

We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused Event Marketing Representative to represent our roofing and siding company at community events, festivals, home shows, sporting events, and other promotional activities.

In this role, you will create a positive experience for event attendees, engage with homeowners, generate qualified leads, and schedule free home improvement consultations for our sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and tear down of event displays, tents, tables and promotional materials
• Represent our company professionally at all events and community functions.
• Engage event attendees and create a welcoming, positive experience
• Educating homeowners about our homeowners about our exterior services
• Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments for home improvement
• Accurately collect customer information and entering leads into company systems.
• Meet or exceed lead generation and appointment setting goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional event space
• Work collaboratively with Marketing Event Manager and Sales team

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortably initiating conversations with strangers and engaging large groups of people
• Comfortable interacting with the public and generating interest in company services
• Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
• Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to travel to event locations throughout the assigned territory
• Previous customer service, retail, event marketing, or sales experience is helpful but not required
• No prior home improvement industry experience required; training will be provided
• Ability to lift and transport event materials weighing up to 25 pounds

Compensation:

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.

Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous customer service, retail, event marketing, or sales experience preferred but not required
• 1-2 years of customer-facing experience is a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
