This is a sleep overnight position with a sleep wage of $13/hour - 5 hours of a 10 hour shift.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Prior experience in direct support, patient care, or a related field is preferred, not required
Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
- Proficiency in medication administration (training provided).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated empathy and patience.
- Ability to handle crisis intervention situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID).
Physical Requirements/Work Conditions:
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed (with training and proper equipment).
- Ability to work in a variety of settings, including residential homes and community environments.
- Must be able to pass a DHS background check
