What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Investment Fund/Investment Management Fund Associate (Attorney) position at Oak Ridge Legal Search?
We are working with a dynamic boutique law firm seeking a Private Investment Fund/Investment Management Associate for their Stamford, CT office.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in private investment fund formation and related matters, including advising fund sponsors on drafting and negotiating core fund documents (placement memoranda, partnership agreements, subscription agreements and side letters), knowledge of fund terms and issues impacting private investment fund sponsors and investors, as well as relevant securities rules and regulations. Experience reviewing fund and co-invest documentation for institutional investors is a plus. Ideal candidates will have strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large-firm or equivalent experience. CT Bar admission required. NY Bar admission is a plus.
