Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Activities Assistant role based in union grove , WI. The Activities Assistant will support the development and coordination of engaging recreational activities for residents to enhance their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Daily tasks include organizing and leading group and individual activities, assisting residents during events, and collaborating with the team to create and manage monthly activity calendars. As part of this role, the Activities Assistant will interact with residents, encouraging their participation and uplifting their quality of life.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Communication and Customer Service to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Experience in Recreation and organizing engaging activities
- Competency in providing care and support for older adults, with demonstrated Elder Care experience
- Ability to facilitate Training and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Enthusiasm, compassion, and creativity to positively impact the lives of residents
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a similar role or healthcare setting is a plus
- Familiarity with planning recreational programs and activities tailored to senior residents.
