BOWLING ATTENDANT
Department: Bowling
Reports To: Sport and Recreation Coordinator
Job Description: The Bowling Attendant position is one of the most important positions in the bowling alley every day. This position is tasked with greeting members and guests, taking care of the front of the alley, making sure equipment is on and presentable, taking care of basic housekeeping, and assisting members and guests with any of their bowling needs. Due to the nature of the position, the Bowling Attendant must be friendly and make decisions quickly.
General Requirements:
- Complies with Oak Hill Country Club's Acorns of Excellence.
- Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and dressed in accordance with Oak Hill Country Club's appearance standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Anticipate guest and contact needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to concerns and requests.
- Exceptional communication abilities when interacting with associates, guests, clients and internal departments to build relationships.
- Able to consistently perform tasks with little direct supervision. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers.
Job Requirements:
- Seasonal position with varied hours based on business and events
- Maintain a visible presence in the front and back of Bowling Alley operations
- Dress professionally with provided uniform and maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with Oak Hill grooming standards
- Promote goodwill and exceptional service to members and guests
- Perform basic housekeeping needs like cleaning the tables, taking out the trash and sweeping
- Assist with giving guests shoes Other duties as provided
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to continuously sit, stand and walk a minimum of 8 hours.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, push and pull over the course of a shift.
- All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Oak Hill's appearance standards.
- Must be able to work a flexible shift that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age. Must have a reliable form of transportation to and from work.

Education:
High school or equivalent education required.Experience:
- Bowling Alley experience is strongly preferred.
- Customer Service experience is preferred.
Licenses & Certificates:
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.
- Valid driver's license.
Salary : $16 - $16
