We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Manager to oversee Target business processes from item setup through purchase order management and fulfillment. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy in item creation, e-commerce setup, inventory control, and seamless coordination across cross-functional teams (Production, Marketing, Warehouse, and Sales). The Sales Operations Manager will also lead execution of operational processes within Target’s systems while serving as the primary liaison to Target to drive efficiency, compliance, and flawless retail execution.
- Act as the central point of contact between internal teams and Target, ensuring seamless communication and execution
- Review all buy files and create internal buy sheets and lead buy hand-offs to the Production team
- Own end-to-end item setup process in Target Partners Online and ERP system, including setup of child/parent items and shipper configuration
- Partner with Marketing & Design to manage e-commerce readiness such as image uploads and PDP copy management within Partners Online
- Write and manage bulk orders in ERP system
- Review inbound EDI purchase orders, validate accuracy, and approve with the EDI and Allocations team
- Track and monitor PO status (open, picked, shipped) and provide weekly updates to Target with inventory tracking sheet
- Provide timely updates and reporting to internal stakeholders on item and PO progress
- Ensure all processes meet Target compliance requirements and internal deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in sales operations, account management, or supply chain (Department stores or mass retail experience strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in Excel advanced functions, MS office, and SharePoint
- Deep understanding of GS1 UPC data hierarchy in apparel industry and PLM/ERP platforms (Blue Cherry or similar)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
· A proactive, self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across internal and external teams
